Just taught my first boys’ PE lesson (hockey).
They were so much more positive and competitive and enthusiastic than the girls last term, and I loved it!

The first sport you teach them is in hockey? How cool is that!! In the southern US, we rarely get to see hockey, and it certainly isn’t taught. Basketball, soccer (your football), tennis, sure. But never hockey. very cool.
The first sports we teach them tend to be rugby and football, then hockey and basketball, an athletics/tennis in the Summer. Just a coincidence that I have always been allocated to girls’ classes until now!
